HOW TO UPLIFT YOUR SPIRITS

Feeling upset or depressed happens to every one of us at one time or another, but it doesn't have to be a permanent state. There are several steps you can take to uplift your spirits, whether you're feeling down due to a personal issue or some stress at work. Engaging in different activities such as spending time outdoors, putting fresh flowers in your home and just taking better overall care of yourself will go a long way toward ensuring there is a form of balance and joy in your life...


A.   Surround yourself with things you like. This can mean candles, flowers, scents you enjoy or colors on your walls or furniture that lift your spirits. I always feel having fresh white or colorful flowers in your home, lit candles and a nice relaxing scent can change any mood, especially in your home.


B.   Associate with good friends who you are able to confide and 100% trust   in. Feelings like you have someone to turn to can help you feel less isolated or alone.

C.   Participate in a fun activity, which can help you direct yourself and your mental state. Take an art class, playing video games or whatever you know will keep yourself active and improve your mood.

D.   Indulge yourself when you feel your spirits sinking. Take a bubble bath, eat some ice cream or go shopping, etc. when you need a mood booster.


E.   Have a journal to track your mood, writing in its daily about how you're feeling and what is going on that day. This will help you determine if your moods are related to things such as financial problems, work or stress.


F.    Make sure to get enough sleep and exercise. You should get eight hours of sleep a night. Moderate physical exercise such as a walk three times a week can go a long way to make towards your health and mental state.



When you first wake up in the morning, try your best to start your day on a positive note. You can make up your own positive quote. The Quote must contain a goal that you have set for yourself for the future. Once you have it set, say that quote repetitively every day or when you feel your spirits need to be lifted. Make sure you put that positive energy into the universe and believe in it with all your heart and enjoy Life!!!!
